David (Dave) Boulos from Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys provided a fantastic experience (well, as great as an experience can be when needing a personal injury attorney) to me earlier this summer. My husband was in a work related truck accident over a month ago. He asked me to call Dan Newlin's office. When I did, I specifically stated that the accident happened in Alabama and was told by the initial person I spoke with in Newlin's office that it was no problem. Well, to make a long story short, I have sat here for the past seven weeks and watched as my husband has been sent to chirpractor/neurologist/MRI appointments (which is fine as I suppose that is the norm) and passed around from one Newlin attorney to another only to have the second guy say that he was not licensed in Alabama and was going to refer my husband to an attorney with an outside firm up there. Now we are back at square one with a THIRD attorney. Why the heck did this firm take our case in the first place after being repeatedly told the incident occurred in Alabama?

I will say that everyone we dealt with at Newlin's office was professional and, with one exception, friendly enough. But both my husband and I were very disappointed. Never again.

My wife got rear ended at a red light. The guy admitted guilt but has minimal coverage. Once they found that out they backed out as our lawyer.

Not sure what these people did, I told them to stay away from my insurance company and to go after the insurance if the guy who hit us. My insurance company doesn't even want to talk to me even after I told them we don't have a lawyer anymore.

Waste of time unless the other driver has full coverage. They won't even look for other ways to try to get something after my wife's injury.

To update. No one from Newlin's office ever phoned me. The past several months, I have undergone more neurological testing and another consultation with a Neuro-surgeon. Unfortunately, my 3 rd assign Mr Newlin's ATTY. , ( yes, 3!) , Mr Jackson was extremely premature in pushing for settlement. The delay in my care, had been due to insurance changes and delay in authorizations. Then Covid hit. IF, Newlin's bunch had done their due diligence; their settlement cut, would have been substantially higher. I was recently told, the numbness, loss of function, was all due to my neck injury. I will eventually, be in a wheelchair, with the need of assistance in daily life. I'm too advanced for surgery, due to the degenerative changes, brough on by the delay, of treatment. " Surgery would either kill you, or you'd end up like Christopher Reeves." I regret every day for listening to my Mother, and choosing this firm.
