Off site parking in Tampa

I see a place called Capital Parking in Tampa. Any reviews good or bad? I've done off site parking in Port Canaveral and loved it. Saved major bucks. I was gonna go ahead and at least reserve at this place in Tampa but I see you have to go ahead and enter payment information. Before I do that I want to make sure they're on the up and up.

Ive seen several places discussed for offsite parking in Tampa on the Florida Departures board. I just went out of tampa twice, but I stayed at a hotel the night before. I am sure there are several places. I saw shuttles for parking lots continually in and out while I waited for my airport shuttle.

I dont remember seeing Capital, but they could be a smaller one.

I'm planning on using Capital, so I'm awaiting reviews/ thoughts too!

We're using a place called Parking241... It's close to the Tampa Carnival terminal, you keep your keys and it was $32.50 for 5 days, prepaid. The reviews I read we're good fr both it and Capital.

We used capital for our april cruise and we were very happy. Parking is close to the port, quick service and great rates! You keep your keys but have to prepay online. It was super easy and i would not hesitate to use them again.

I agree with this. We used them for our cruise a couple of weeks ago and were pleased. I found a discount code at http://www.longtermparking.com/COUPONS/cpcapitalporttpa.htm that gave us one day free. I paid a total of $38.88, including tax for 7 days.

Is the lot secure? As in fenced?

I've done that in the past, but this time we are staying the night at my brother's house in Green Cove Springs, then drive to Tampa morning of cruise. Only downside is that I'll miss some great Cuban food for dinner the night before.:(:D

We did self assist as well. We got off the Legend and made our way across the street to the "pizza" shape as indicated (a 2 minute walk from the port). We stopped there, DH called the driver listed on the card and literally he showed up less than 1 minute later. Ride to the car was very minimal- 2 to 3 minutes maybe? Lot is gated and fenced. Man was nice. I was very happy!

I agree with your review of Capital Parking. We used their services last week while we were on the Carnival Paradise. I couldn't have asked for more prompt service and Mike was a super nice guy.

I wish I knew about this place for my last cruise. Harbour Island is an upscale area, luxury hotels and residences and would feel safer parking there than at the port. Great find!

In Port Canaveral, we used parkcruise.com. They were great and so much cheaper than the port. (I keep a Word document with notes from past cruises, so this info was easy for me to find. :D)

Same as redbird. Park N Cruise. Loved it. Paid less than 1/2 the price of port parking!!

Ok...just booked the parking for my cruise that leaves this weekend...Have never done used offsite parking before...anything I need to be aware of?

How far a walk are these places?

This one apparently has something that will take you back and forth for the parking...if all works out as planned, I will have saved $55, just always worried about it working out as planned!
