After posting the original review, I was contacted by a representative of AmeriEstate. Peggy was very apologetic and took full responsibility on behalf of the company. In short, she handled things very professionally. Without any hesitation, she offered a full refund of premiums we had paid since moving to a new state where AmeriEstate is not licensed.

In May 2015, however, we moved to Illinois and continued paying the annual fee until December 2023. Our credit card had been cancelled due to a fraudulent charge so the number on file was no longer valid.
I called to update our cc information and asked the woman I was talking to a question about our trust. It was then that I found out that they do not operate in Illinois. For the past eight years they have mailed us numerous times to our Illinois address, but for whatever reason, did not feel it important to inform us about that "small" detail.
I used their online form to express my disappointment with how we were treated and even acknowledged that I bore some responsibility for not verifying that we were still covered. I received a stock auto-reply saying that someone would be in touch with me once they determined who should contact me.
Apparently, there was no one at the company who was willing to talk with me, as I received no callback. Like I said above, I'm disappointed and I will confess to also being angry for being taken advantage of. I imagine them thinking, "We've got a good thing going here. This sucker continues to pay, even though his annual payment gives him absolutely no benefit.
I've waited to give a review in order to give them plenty of time to respond. I think two months is sufficient. I'm not saying don't use them, but this has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth! - Debbie F.San Francisco, CA01Feb 25, 2024
My Mother hat a trust made by this Company. when my mother past. I received a phone call from someone that worked for the company and said I do not deserve nothin. This person gave me the name but when I asked again to write it down she said no. My brother made a Trust with this company as well and I am a benificiary on his trust as well. i Asked for a copy of the trust they refused. I got it hired an attorney. They one of their attorneys told me that I will not receive what is owed to me untill the trustee dies. which was not true. this company is very helpful but the people that work for the company are wolves in sheeps clothing. I just completed my Trust, Will, Power of Attorney and Advance Directive with AmeriEstate Legal Plan. The process was seamless from beginning to end.
