Senior citizen beware!
I'm writing this review on the behalf of my senior citizen mother who had a small faucet leak in the front year that turned into flood thanks to milestone....
So they came... made it worse...
Flooded the yard
Then left...
Charging her hundreds of dollars.
Now out a few hundred dollars a high water bill
And the cost of another plumber...
I vote you 1# con artists in the DFW...

Since the saga that I reported on several years ago concerning our electric meter everything has worked just fine. Milestone has now added HVAC and plumbing to their list of services so they could do it all for the home owner. And if you have a billing problem they caused they responded in a responsible manner. We noted a charge on our credit card statement from Milestone recently and contacted them. They acknowledge the mistake and gave us a full refund. Still get 5 stars.

Aug 28, 2020Previous reviewWhen the electric meter goes out taking the AC down on 90+ degree days one calls the first electric repair company that comes to mind. Bottom Line: I am glad we contacted Milestone for their prompt service and advice. Read more of the saga below: We had seen their commercials for years on TV so they were top of mind. Lesson learned: when the lights start flickering that's a sign something wrong with connection not just when power goes out to entire house/neighborhood. First up call/text Oncor to have tech check if they have a problem or you. We called at 10am and tech showed 3:00pm to disassemble the meter. After 22 years the connection inside showed the short circuit burns and we had to replace the meter by licensed electrician. We called right away to Milestone and they sent a tech that afternoon. He looked over the meter problem and suggested repair/replacement options. Considering the age of meter we opted for total replacement. Next problem was contacting Oncor to get disconnect/reconnect of power line order placed so electrician could safely removed/install unit. We paid our electric bills through TXU which required contacting them rather than a direct call to Oncor which Milestone could have done for us. It seems TXU requires customers to go through them for Oncor service while other electric providers do not. The TXU service rep wanted to schedule us the usual three days out when we had no AC which wasn't an option. With Milestone's tech coaching we insisted on next day disconnect/reconnect order and got sort of a commitment for next day service. Milestone offered to return next day expecting Oncor disconnect at sometime and IF not powered offed would uninstall/install while 'hot'. Risky but doable. Next day about noon Milestone returned as promised, waited an hour and when Oncor hadn't shown elected to start work with 'hot' connection. Total job took about an hour. During their work (2 electricians) ONCOR did show up along with city code inspector to do their part. Bottom line again: OooRah! We had power and AC working again about 24 hours after meter failure. Forget to mention we had 120v power during meter failure so we could run fans but no AC which needs 220/240v. So before you need electrical service checkout their website as they offer lots of other services; HVAC, plumbing, home repairs, etc. I posted a photo showing inside of electric meter box so you can see the short circuit burn marks in upper left near orange terminal.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of availing a free HVAC tune-up service from Milestone. While the idea of a complimentary tune-up was appealing, the aftermath of their visit left me deeply dissatisfied and questioning their practices.
During the supposed "tune-up," the technicians managed to swap the cooling and heating cables, leading to significant issues with my HVAC system. While the technician was here, we noticed a burning smell coming through the ducts after calling it to his attention he allegedly "fixed"it and provided a new cable unbeknownst to us he still connected it incorrectly and the burning smell continued after left.
As a result, my home's indoor climate became unbearable. The system would turn on and off constantly for the next 5 hours until it was able to be corrected by someone else. It was evident that their lack of expertise and negligence caused this problem.
When I contacted the company to address the issue, they were unresponsive and seemed disinterested in rectifying their mistake. Their lack of accountability and professionalism only added to my frustration.
The fact that this happened during a "free" service raises concerns about their intentions. It almost feels like a predatory practice, using the guise of a complimentary service to create problems and then charging for additional repairs.
I cannot recommend Milestone based on this experience. Their actions not only resulted in inconvenience and discomfort but also displayed a lack of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Milestone is the worst!!!! I had their " Advantage plan" on 5 properties and they quoted me $1750 to repair the pipe under the house. I asked the technician what type of pipe we had and he said he didn't even know because he didn't go under the house. That was three times too high and he didn't analyze the problem correctly. Their HVAC guy told me all kind of things I needed but I didn't need them. My independent plumber and Hvac was much better.

We had a GFCI that would not reset. We called and got an appointment for the next morning. Our technician, Scott arrived within the time window set up by the office. He was very polite and professional as we discussed the problem and possibly resolutions. After initial diagnosis Scott informed me that the breaker needed to be replaced. Before he did the work, Scott informed me of what needed to be done and what the cost was for the repair. We agreed on a course of action and Scott fixed everything quickly and cleaned up the work area afterwards.

Please be careful of their "Milestone Advantage" Program. We signed up for the program a year ago and were told the funds would be available after a year for any needed service or repair. I called today to schedule someone to come out and reset my toilet. I found out that the "Milestone Advantage" $19.99 that i have been paying them every month is only good for "large" expenses such as replacing the AC, replacing a water heater, etc. It cannot be used for smaller repairs. They "sometimes" will allow you to use it for $1,000 and $2,000 repairs, depending on the circumstance. They now have $260 of my money that I cannot get back. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Yes professional and well dressed, but really 1100. For one electrical box added outside, 35 minutes. He did check another unit and advised why it did work. He said would not charge for that diagnosis , thank goodness. I suppose we paid for there advertising budget

$25,000 for a tankless water heater!!
Unbelievable wife and I have been getting quotes and milestone made it very clear when their salesman came out that they would much rather install a regular water heater. We explained that we wanted tankless. Of all the quotes we received milestone won by $19,000. We received numerous other quotes ranging from 4k -6k. Never seen a salesman waste so much time to bid not to get a job in my life. 1.5 hours to write down 3 bullet point and $25,000 ...
